Dreaming up a new book project per usual.

I’ve been really consumed lately with listening to business podcasts and how to be successful in this area.

Sometimes I get so distracted with all the different avenues I can take that I get analysis paralysis.

My goal this coming season of life is to really invest not only in the time and energy I put into my business but also to be more thoughtful with how I’m spending my personal time.

My boyfriend is from Chicago and wanted me to paint his state butterfly, so the Monarch it is!

I see these here in Washington occasionally too and they are just so beautiful and colorful. I’m hoping the butterflies appreciate all the flowers I plan on adding to the landscape this year and stop by to visit.

New prints are available! I personally am so excited to get these hung up in my baby nursery. I’m 20 weeks along now and all the extra energy is making me so ready to get this baby’s room set up and decorated.
I plan on putting these three in 11*14 frames over his dresser. So cute!

The Morpho Goddard butterfly is so gorgeous I had

The Morpho Goddard butterfly is so gorgeous I had to add it to my collection. Their wings are primarily blue but have a beautiful iridescent finish.

It’s been a really fun couple weeks of focusing more on pen and ink again and painting things that are more delicate.

Next week I launch the Barnyard Baby Book!

Self educating through the book publishing business is no joke. Between my baby’s nap times, midnight painting sessions, endless YouTube videos and ordering so many samples from publishers, I finally feel like this product is everything I dreamed it would be.

This first book project will always be so near and dear to my heart because it grew me into the artist and business owner I am today.

I’m so looking forward to what all this book will launch me too and what it will inspire me to do next.

I shared my pregnancy yesterday and I was overwhelmed with the support and sweet messages from everyone, thank you

Baby Farmer is so very loved already.

This week I practiced more with colored pencils and oh my goodness those curls were tough, but overall I’m happy with the result.

It’s a very snowy wonderland up here in northern Washington, so staying home and staying warm is the plan.
